2011-2012 School Year Is Coming In 2 Weeks!!

Hi everyone who might be reading this post!! This school year is coming too fast and I wish I had more time to listen to 89.3 WLFJ, read, etc.. So back to what I was saying, I hope all of you out there are ready for an excellent school year, because I can't wait to start school!! Just remember, do your best even if you have a school subject that you don't like and always give 100% in all of your classes it will really help you when progress reports come out at the end of the first nine weeks. I am looking forward to this school year because it will be the start of a great high school career and I hope to be with K12 until the 12th grade so that I can graduate in a different type of environment, you know, we live in a "virtual" technological world. I would like to offer some more advice: Be prepared for a great school year, always give your full attention to your teacher(they are here to help you succeed), participate in your ClassConnect sessions, try to always make A's or B's whatever suits you but remember if you want to go to a four year school you must try to make all A's. I know I want to make all A's so that I won't disappoint my teachers at SCVCS or my parents because they want their daughter to succeed in everything that I do in life. So with that said, I hope all of you give it your best this school year and remember even if you don't go to SCVCS, I will be cheering you on, nevertheless. HAVE A GREAT 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR!!!!!!

How To Get Adjusted To Your New "Virtual" School

When I was at the end of this past school year 2010-2011, my mom asked me if I wanted to be at home doing school and I was esctactic because I was so tired of all the trash talk that normally goes on at a brick and mortar high school so I responded with a "YES" and my mom went to the K12 website to begin my enrollment process so that I could begin a brand new school year with not so much worry of getting along with my peers at my hometown high school and being made fun of all the time< this occurred at the end of the school year, you know how it is, kids at a high school normally act out at the end of the year anyway so I was glad to be out of that type environment. It's hard for me to let go of what I heard that was said behind my back so I took it personally when I should have let it go like a normal person but I'm not, I'm autistic. So like I said earlier, I wanted to be with K12 more than anything so I could show my friends that were at the high school that I was capable of passing the ninth grade because I heard from the time that I entered that high school door's that I wasn't capable of making it but I did and I am so proud that I have parents who take great pride in their daughter's education because they know me more than my teachers did and I love my parents for allowing me to pursue my dream and that is to graduate high school so I can achieve my goals at a much higher level and that is college. I really would like to go to North Greenville University when I am out of high school and I almost wrote a "book". You will enjoy this post more than my last one. :)

Summer Camp Experiences

This has been a great week to learn how to create a blog and I hope I will learn a lot more about how to improve my blog. I really enjoy getting to talk to my friends during this summer camp knowing it will be our last week being able to talk to each other before school starts on August 15th.
